The Vision

Texoma Cycling Center opened in 2001 at 502 Wichita St. TCC, the vision of Jarvis and Karen Polvado, was established because of their love for cycling. They have become the premier bicycle shop in the North Texas and and Southern Oklahoma region. When the shop first opened, they carried bicycles and accessories from Specialized and Cannondale. They were off and running. They made great efforts to share their dream and their love of cycling. Today, TCC sports a complete line of bicycles and accessories that rivals bicycle shops in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. Their brands are now Trek, Cannondale, Giant, Easy Racer Recumbents, Baccetta Recumbents, Sun Bicycle Recumbents, Giant and 2Hip BMX. TCC has become the "hub" of all cycling activities in Wichita Falls. Several area cycling rides start at TCC due to their easy access to country roads for the roadie, and their location at the trailhead to the Wee-chi-tah mountain bike trail for the mountain bikers. The weather in Wichita Falls lends itself to year round bicycle riding. If it is cycling related, you can find it or find out about it at TCC... they truly are the "hub" of cycling news and activities in the area.

In addition to selling bicycles and accessories, TCC is a "full-service" bicycle repair shop. Under the supervision of Service Manager/Co-Owner Jarvis Polvado, your bicycle will receive complete, competent, and expert service. TCC sports the only certified bicycle mechanics in the Wichita Falls and North Texas areas, having attained the designation of Certified Bicycle Technicians from United Bicycle Institute in Oregon and Jarvis is also a Category 4 USCF Certified Mechanic attained from USA Cycling in Colorado. TCC can fine-tune your bicycle for your next race, or re-condition that bicycle that's been in the attic for years.

TCC is involved with the community of Wichita Falls. They sponsor several events, both cycling and non-cycling, that they feel will benefit the folks in Wichita Falls. Both Jarvis and Karen are involved with the Hotter 'n Hell event, the MSU cycling team, the junior cycling team - Team Shadow, and several events at Sheppard Air Force Base (just to mention a few). And in their "spare" time, you might see them picking up debris from the Wee-Chi-Tah trail, hosting a bicycle safety rodeo for children, or cheering for their favorite hockey team, the Wichita Falls Wildcats.
